LAHORE — OPPO has entered into a partnership with Peshawar Zalmi as the official technology partner for the upcoming HBL PSL 11 season. The agreement links one of Pakistan’s most popular cricket franchises with a global smartphone brand during the country’s premier T20 tournament.
The collaboration, announced on March 2, 2026, is aimed at engaging cricket fans across Pakistan through digital campaigns, interactive activities and technology-driven fan experiences during the Pakistan Super League.
In its statement, OPPO said the partnership aligns with its focus on youth engagement and innovation in mobile technology. The company recently introduced its Reno15 Series in Pakistan, featuring enhanced camera systems, AI-based tools and high-performance capabilities targeted at content creators and sports enthusiasts.
The Reno15 Pro includes a 200MP 3.5x telephoto camera, while the Reno15 model offers a 50MP camera setup. Both devices support advanced zoom functions and 4K video recording, designed to allow users to capture live sporting moments with improved clarity.
Lin Zhan, Chief Marketing Officer at OPPO Pakistan, said cricket provides a significant platform to connect with audiences nationwide. He noted that the partnership reflects shared values of performance and innovation between the two brands.
Javed Afridi, Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi, said the franchise aims to collaborate with global companies that promote innovation and community engagement, adding that the partnership strengthens Zalmi’s commercial and brand presence during PSL 11.
Beyond the tournament, both organizations indicated plans to work together on youth-focused initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs throughout the year.
HBL PSL 11 is expected to draw strong viewership across Pakistan and abroad, making team-brand partnerships a key feature of the tournament’s commercial landscape.
