SRINAGAR: Unknown gunmen ambushed an Indian army truck in Poonch district of Occupied Kashmir, resulting in 5 deaths while 3 other personnel were seriously injured.
According to Indian broadcaster NDTV, an Indian army truck and a vehicle were attacked in Poonch district of Occupied Kashmir when this truck was passing through a tunnel towards the base carrying personnel.
The Indian army vehicles were targeted by the attackers who ambushed them on the hill. The attack was so sudden that the Indian soldiers in the truck did not get a chance to recover. The assailants escaped easily after the operation.
After the attack, the Indian Army did not inform about the number of Indian soldiers in the vehicles, however, it was confirmed that 3 soldiers were killed and 5 injured, but 2 more deaths were confirmed today.
The slain Indian soldiers were identified as Birendra Singh, Karan Kumar, Chandan Kumar and Gautam Kumar, while the injured included Sandeep Kumar, Shyam Sunder Das and Todmal Bhaskari.

The area was besieged by calling for more personnel to help the Indian soldiers who were victims of the attack and in the name of search operation, the anger of their failures was unleashed on the common and innocent citizens.
It should be remembered that during the last two years, the number of personnel killed in attacks on Indian soldiers and policemen going for search operation has reached around 50.
