Islamabad: The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Business School (NBS) recently marked its 25th anniversary with a grand homecoming event. The event brought together a diverse gathering of former deans, faculty, staff, and alumni to commemorate the institution’s journey of growth and impact.
The celebration was graced by the presence of Pro-Rector Academics and Pro-Rector Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (RIC), who extended their best wishes to the NBS community.
Dr Naukhez Sarwar, Principal and Dean of NBS, delivered a heartfelt welcome address, acknowledging the contributions of past leadership and highlighting the significant milestones achieved by the school. The school has grown exponentially over the years, offering a diverse range of programs to over 1,500 students. NBS has also established valuable international partnerships, facilitating student exchange programs and pursuing accreditation from prestigious bodies like NBEAC and AACSB.
Dr Rizwan Riaz, Pro-Rector RIC, emphasized the importance of alumni engagement and encouraged them to mentor current students. He also underlined the significance of such gatherings in fostering a strong sense of community and shared values.

The event featured a captivating qawwali performance by the Bakshi Brothers, which mesmerized the audience and created a memorable evening. Alumni from various countries, including the UK, KSA, and UAE, attended the event with their families, demonstrating the global reach and impact of NBS.
