The National Logistics Corporation (NLC) received the Fastest Growing Company of the Year Award at a ceremony held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The recognition was presented during the Business Opportunities Conference & International Achievement Awards 2025, attended by Uzbek government officials, representatives of Chambers of Commerce, and members of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission.
NLC’s cross-border operations expand in Central Asia
NLC began cross-border logistics services to Uzbekistan in May 2023. Since starting operations, the organisation has completed more than 1,000 cross-border movements, transporting around 20,000 metric tonnes of export and import cargo. The consignments have included medicines, textile goods, exhibition materials, and other commercial commodities.
According to operational data, the organisation has also moved approximately 6,000 tonnes of agricultural products—such as mandarins, bananas, mangoes, potatoes, rice, and meat—to Uzbekistan.
Logistics hub established in Termez
In addition to transport operations, NLC has set up a logistics hub in Termez. The facility provides multimodal logistics services to business communities operating in the region, offering support for transit, storage, and cargo movement along regional routes.
Award presented at Tashkent conference
The award was conferred during the international conference aimed at identifying trade opportunities and recognising companies operating in the region’s logistics and business sectors. Delegations from government institutions and private-sector organisations participated in the event.
