RAWALPINDI: Nine terrorists were gunned down by security forces during two separate intelligence operations conducted on February 16 and 17 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release on Saturday, two terrorists, including a high-value target identified as Rehmat Ullah alias Badar Mansur and Amjad alias Babri, were killed in an intelligence operation conducted by security forces in Tank District. .
In another operation conducted in South Waziristan district, seven terrorists were sent to hell after an intense gunfight. Arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the slain terrorists who continued to be actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against the security forces as well as extorting and killing innocent civilians. However, during the operation, a brave son of the country, Sepoy Shahzeb Aslam (29 years; resident of Haripur district) who fought bravely, accepted Shahadat (martyrdom). “Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices by our brave soldiers further strengthens our resolve,” ISPR said.
