ISLAMABAD: A new direct entry and exit route linking EIGHTEEN with the M-1/M-2 Link Road has become operational, improving access to the development from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and the national motorway network.
The new connection is expected to make travel more convenient for residents, visitors and businesses while supporting the continued expansion of the mixed-use project.
According to EIGHTEEN, the access point was approved by the National Highway Authority, with support from the Ministry of Communications and the Special Investment Facilitation Council during the approval and facilitation process.
The company said the road link represents an important infrastructure development and will strengthen the project’s integration with major transport corridors around the federal capital.
Dr Mohamed Mansour, chief executive officer of EIGHTEEN, said the opening reflected coordination between the project and relevant government institutions.
He said improved connectivity was important for residents and visitors and could also reinforce confidence among international sponsors and investors involved in the development.
EIGHTEEN also acknowledged the NHA’s technical role in the project and credited the SIFC with supporting investment facilitation.
The development is being undertaken by Ora Developers in partnership with the Saif Group and Kohistan Builders and Developers.
It includes residential, commercial and recreational components and is being developed as an integrated lifestyle destination near Islamabad.
The direct road access is expected to improve movement to and from the project and support future residential, retail and commercial activity within the development.
