Google has announced the launch of its new AI Academy aimed at accelerating the growth of artificial intelligence startups in Pakistan and the wider Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The AI Academy initiative is designed to stimulate new cross-border innovation and partnerships, facilitating the exchange of ideas, expertise and resources to accelerate the development of AI solutions. Google’s PR agency emphasized that this effort will make the APAC region a global hub for AI development.
The program will initially support more than 20 startups focused on AI-based technologies.
AI Academy participants will receive one-on-one guidance and support from Google’s global AI experts. Additionally, each startup will be eligible for up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credit to support AI development and experimentation.
The aim of this accelerated process is not only to accelerate their path to success, but also to demonstrate the tangible value of their innovation in the AI sector.
Applications for the AI Academy program are open until August 16, presenting a crucial opportunity for Pakistani startups to join the regional push for advanced AI development.
