Actress Nazish Jahangir Reveals She Was Supposed to Be on the Plane That Crashed in Karachi’s Model Colony
Pakistani actress Nazish Jahangir has revealed that she was supposed to be on the plane that crashed and burned in Karachi five years ago, but she missed the flight.
In a recent podcast, the actress claimed that the Pakistan International Airlines flight from Lahore to Karachi, which crashed in May 2020 in Karachi’s Model Colony, was one she was supposed to be on. However, due to a few reasons, she missed the flight.
She shared that her first air travel was to Saudi Arabia with her parents, while she later traveled to the Maldives with friends on her own expenses. When she first landed in Karachi from Islamabad, she didn’t like the city, but now she has grown fond of it.
Nazish revealed that she often misses flights due to various reasons, despite her best efforts to avoid it. She recalled missing six flights in one day alone, all from Islamabad to Karachi.
She further mentioned that, after the lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, she missed the flight that tragically crashed in Karachi. She said she had a ticket for that flight and was supposed to go to Karachi after spending 60 days in quarantine, but she couldn’t make it.
Expressing her gratitude, Nazish said she thanked her luck after hearing about the crash.
It is important to note that in May 2020, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crashed while attempting to land in Karachi, killing nearly 100 people. The plane crashed into a residential area, causing damage to homes and leading to several casualties.
