Former Pakistan all-rounder Azhar Mahmood said on Wednesday that Islamabad United pacer Naseem Shah is not injured. Speaking at a press conference in Rawalpindi after the match against Lahore Qalandars, Mahmood said, “The way Naseem bowls back and forth is not easy.”
He rallied behind Hunain Shah and said, “Hunain is one of the most promising cricketers and has great skills.” Mahmood stated, “United escaped in the dying minutes because the T20 format is all about momentum.” Expressing his satisfaction with the team’s pace despite the loss against the Qalandars, he said, “The team is looking to improve.

Speaking about the conditions in Rawalpindi, Mahmood said, “In conditions like the Pindi Stadium, you have to have wickets in hand. In today’s match, we kept losing goals. However, when Naseem Shah played, it looked like runs would be chased.”
