Senior Pakistani actress Nadia Afghan revealed that she has not been paid for several dramas to date. In a recent interview, she shared her thoughts on various topics related to the showbiz industry.
The actress disclosed that she keeps a “black book” in which she records the names of people she no longer wishes to work with, such as producers, actors, and directors. Nadia Afghan revealed that she has worked in many dramas where, as an actress, she never received payment. However, when producers withhold her payment, she refuses to work with them again and clearly tells them that she will not collaborate with them unless they settle the outstanding payments.
She said, “Rizq (sustenance) is given by God, and thank God, I am still getting work and working. But many people have ended up in this black book.” Nadia also mentioned that she often tells her husband that all the people she used to work with have ended up in her black book. If work stops, she wonders what she will do, to which her husband suggests she earn through a YouTube channel.
