Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins, a resident of South Florida, was the victim of a catastrophic fire on Wednesday afternoon. The enormous fire was fought by the firefighters.
The house in the gated enclave of Southwest Ranches’ 16000 block of Berkshire Court caught fire just before 2:00 p.m.
Numerous local organizations, including Davie Fire Rescue and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, sent a sizable contingent of police officers and firefighters to the area.
Bob Taylor of Davie Fire Rescue reported that although the fire was contained to the roof and attic, a large portion of the house had smoke damage. Determining the cause of the fire was premature.
According to Taylor, no injuries have been reported.
The standout wide receiver for the Dolphins, Hill, was not at home when the altercation started on Wednesday; he was practicing with the squad.
Hill had left practice, according to a Dolphins spokesman, and everyone who was at home at the time was safe.
By three o’clock in the afternoon, the fire seemed to be out, although there was a sizable hole in one section of the roof.
Although it was unclear if the family would be able to remain in the house on Wednesday night, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, expressed gratitude that no one was hurt.
According to property records, Hill paid $6.9 million for the mansion in 2022.
The 9,300-square-foot house has two stories, a full-size basketball court, a home theater, a large pool, and seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Tyreek Hill: who is he?
Tyreek Hill plays wide receiver in American football for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins (NFL). The Kansas City Chiefs selected Hill in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He attended Garden City, Oklahoma State, and West Alabama for his collegiate football career.
Hill, a former track and field standout, started out mostly as a return specialist but has since switched to playing wide receiver exclusively.
Because of his speed, he was dubbed “Cheetah” after his first year.
As a punt returner, he was chosen to the NFL 2010 All-Decade Team, won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs, and was selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his eight seasons in the league.
