ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has rejected Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) bid to form a coalition government in Balochistan, saying it has already aligned with Pakistan. People’s Party (PPP) in the province.
This decision was conveyed by PML-N leader Ishaq Dar to the JUI-F delegation who met him in Islamabad on Wednesday.
According to sources, a JUI-F delegation led by general secretary Abdul Ghafoor Haideri suggested that the two parties could come together to form a government in Balochistan, where no party has a clear majority in the provincial assembly. The JUI-F argued that such a move would ensure political and democratic stability in the province.
However, Dar rejected the offer saying that the PML-N had already reached an agreement with the PPP to share power in Balochistan.
