Pakistan’s renowned host and model, Mathira, expressed her anger on social media over a viral inappropriate video shared by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan. A few days ago, Chahat was a guest on Mathira’s show, and he shared a video on Instagram in which he is seen attempting to hug Mathira and shake her hand. In the video, Mehira appears uncomfortable and tries to distance herself.
Mathira responded harshly to the video, revealing that it was filmed without her permission and taken from an inappropriate angle. She emphasized that the video was shared without her consent, noting that she had not authorized its creation or posting.
She said, “Whenever a guest comes on our show, I treat them with respect, love, and kindness. But filming a video in this manner was inappropriate. Being bold does not mean anyone can just come and hug me.” Mathira also mentioned feeling extremely uncomfortable during the incident and clarified that the video was not filmed by the show’s cameras, but by Chahat himself without permission.
She added, “As a woman, this was painful for me because I don’t engage in such behavior like hugging people.” Mathira also revealed that after asking Chahat to remove the video, he refused and did not apologize.
Mathira warned her audience not to try hugging or shaking hands with her if they see her in public. She shared that she was ready to leave the set, and Chahat filmed the video as she was heading out to her car.
