Shenzhen, China: Master Motor Corporation and Utong Bus Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Joint Venture and manufacture and assemble Utong’s new energy city buses in Pakistan.
Yutong Master will set up a new Greenfield plant for the project and will be the first and only company to manufacture city buses in the country. Ututong’s new energy city bus is powered by hybrid and electric and aims to meet the needs of public transportation in Pakistan, supporting the government’s efforts to improve transportation infrastructure.
The agreement was signed on June 5, 2024 during the visit of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to China by Danial Malik, director of Master Motor and Huang uanuanchao from Utong. The conference is aimed at creating new business opportunities and stimulating economic activities in Pakistan.
