Massive decision on passport urgent delivery

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the passport center and NADRA in London and directed officials to issue passports to overseas Pakistanis within seven days.

The Interior Minister noticed delay in issuing passports to Pakistanis living around world.

Mohsin Naqvi said regular passports will be issued to overseas Pakistanis within 30 days, while emergency passports should be issued within seven days.

The Home Minister said that this policy applies to all Pakistani missions around the world, delay in passports will not be tolerated and action will be taken against the officials concerned if passports are not issued within the stipulated time.

The interior minister has also set up a monitoring house to ensure timely delivery of passports, which will be headed by Principal Staff Officer (PSO) ASP Shehar Bano Naqvi, interior minister.
