The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has announced a scheme to provide free 3-marla plots to deserving and underprivileged individuals. She made the announcement during the inauguration of Zahra Homes / Maskan Ravi in Kala Shah Kaku, where she also visited and reviewed the facilities.
During the event, Maryam Nawaz handed over allotment letters and keys to 100 families. She expressed satisfaction with the quality and amenities at Zahra Homes / Maskan Ravi. A briefing was provided about the project, which mentioned that 100 houses have been initially constructed in the Nehra Pur area on Kala Khatayi Road, Lahore. Each home at Zahra Homes covers an area of 400 square feet and includes two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a courtyard.
The homes are designed using EPS Smart Panel Technology, making them earthquake-resistant, energy-efficient, and environmentally sustainable. Each house in Maskan Ravi will be powered by a 5 kW solar system, with additional amenities including an RO plant for clean water, a school, playground, mosque, and dispensary.
The Maskan Ravi Housing Scheme is a joint effort between Roda and EPS Solutions Pakistan. During the ceremony, a documentary was presented highlighting the services and projects of the President of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), Nawaz Sharif.
