LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday advised Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to stay within bounds and be civilized.
She asked him to talk about the performance instead of using foul language.
Speaking to reporters outside an anti-terrorism court in Lahore, where she appeared in connection with a case related to a speech provoking people, Aurangzeb said that Pakistan had buried the politics of abuse in 1990. She said the PTI founder had started a culture of abusing others.
She criticized the PPP chairman and said that he is new to Punjab and may not have visited PKLI, Danish schools and other projects in Punjab. She said that Sindh also has the right to have facilities like Punjab.
She said that the PPP ministers have an equal share in the decisions taken by the PDM government.
She said that the culture that Nawaz Sharif wanted to establish cannot flourish without respecting civility in the conduct of the PPP chairman.
Citing Bloomberg, the PML-N leader said that Nawaz has an edge over his rivals in terms of financial management. She said her party always follows the law and faces the courts.
She said that PML-N was in competition with the parties which got their election symbols which are holding public rallies.
She said his party was fighting inflation and unemployment. She added that they must revive the economy and give jobs to young people. Aurangzeb said that they have finalized a plan to provide relief to the public, which will be published soon.
