Mumbai: Renowned actress Manisha Koirala has exposed Bollywood’s double standards for female artists.
In a recent interview, the actress revealed that during the 90s, actors were not allowed to consume alcohol or date anyone. Manisha Koirala revealed that she mixed vodka in a cola bottle and drank it while shooting for ‘Saudagar’ as actresses were not allowed to consume alcohol.
She further explained that male actors can have multiple girlfriends, but female artists have to hide their relationships.
Notably, Manisha Koirala started her career with Subhash Ghai’s “Saudagar” and recently made her OTT debut with Netflix’s “Heeramandi”.
