Quetta Gladiators spinner Abrar Ahmed on Thursday said he learned a lot from former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Expressing his thoughts after taking 3-31 in his four overs, Ahmed said: “I had some support after the innings moved a bit forward. I’m back from injury and the atmosphere in the team is pretty good.”
“I’m working on a few more varieties. When I took the wickets, I gestured towards the dressing room,” he added.
Ahmed said: “I can only work hard and deliver for my team.
He said, “I have had some opportunities to represent Islamabad United in the past.

Highlighting the difference in playing conditions in Karachi and Multan, Ahmed said, “I got more help here in Karachi than in Multan.”
Commenting on the ‘mystery’ spinner Usman Tariq (2-16), Ahmed said, “I can only comment on Usman Tariq after becoming the coach.”
