Khawaja Asif nominated as PML-N’s parliamentary leader in NA

Former Defense Minister Khawaja Asif was nominated as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Parliamentary Leader in the National Assembly on Saturday.

In this regard, PML-N has written a letter to NA Speaker.

On the other hand, the party issued a notice to PML-N leader Nelson Azeem for not voting for the Speaker and Deputy Speaker elections.

PML-N General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal asked Nelson to explain the matter within seven days.

– Economy Charter –

Separately on Friday, PML-N leader Atta Tarar said his party had already highlighted the need for an economy charter.

Expressing his thoughts, Tarar taunted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, “You [PTI] want to derail democracy in the country.”

Tarar asked, “For what function was the letter written to the International Monetary Fund (IMF)?”
