Karachi water supply suspended after massive power breakdown

Water supply to Karachi, the country’s largest city, has been suspended due to massive power cuts from the Dhabeji pump plant.

A spokesperson of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board said that all pumps at the Dhabezi pumping station stopped working due to power failure.

Water supply to Pakistan’s largest city has been temporarily suspended. The Dhabeji pumping station was established in one of the most densely populated cities in the world.
