In an effort to maintain discipline and professionalism in the law enforcement force, the Sindh Rapid Response Force has issued a directive banning the creation of TikTok videos by police officers in uniform.
The decision comes amid concerns about the negative impact of such actions on police performance and public opinion.
According to the report, the RRF has banned the filming of TikTok videos inside official vehicles or inside the department.
The directive emphasized that carrying out such activities in police uniform is considered unprofessional and contrary to the norms of conduct established by the force.
“The main purpose of this ban is to improve the overall effectiveness of our forces and allow officers to focus on their official duties.”
In addition, he emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity and professionalism, and pointed out that adherence to these principles is essential for public trust and effective law enforcement.
The responsibility of ensuring the implementation of these directives is entrusted to senior officials such as Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP) and designated agencies RRF and CMU Sindh. These officials have been directed to take immediate action to ensure strict implementation of the ban at all levels of the force.
