ISLAMABAD, June 22, 2026: Jubilee Life Insurance held an inclusive event under its “Lights. Camera. Inclusion.” campaign to recognize the role of parents and caregivers in supporting persons with disabilities.
The event brought together persons with disabilities, their families, Jubilee Life employees, and representatives of partner organizations including ConnectHear, NOWPDP, Karachi Vocational Training Centre and Karachi Down Syndrome Program. The initiative was organized to mark Mother’s Day and Father’s Day by acknowledging the families and caregivers who provide long-term support behind many personal and professional achievements.
Jubilee Life said the campaign was designed to create a shared space where families could participate in an inclusive movie experience and feel recognized for their contribution to the lives of persons with disabilities.
The company said the gathering reflected the idea that inclusion is strengthened not only through workplace policies and institutional programmes, but also through empathy, accessibility and community support.
Javed Ahmed, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jubilee Life Insurance, said parents and caregivers often play a decisive role in helping persons with disabilities overcome barriers and reach their potential.
“Behind every person who overcomes barriers and reaches their potential is often a parent or caregiver whose love, resilience and determination have never wavered,” he said.
Ahmed said the initiative was aimed at celebrating people whose contribution often remains outside the public spotlight, despite its long-term impact on families and communities.
Farukh Iftekhar, Group Head HRMD at Jubilee Life Insurance, said the achievements of persons with disabilities are increasingly being recognized, but the support systems behind those achievements are often less visible.
He said many families experience a journey shaped by perseverance, advocacy, sacrifice and unconditional support.
The initiative is part of Jubilee Life’s broader Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda and is aligned with the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance commitments.
Jubilee Life said it would continue working with partner organizations to promote accessibility, inclusion and opportunities for persons with disabilities and their families.
