The Government of Punjab and Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad-Rawalpindi will launch a joint campaign for the restoration of Takht Pari forest on July 27 at 4:00 PM. Part of the wider ‘Plant for Pakistan’ movement, this initiative aims to rehabilitate the forest area that has been affected by encroachment and land grabbing.
DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi is investing significant resources in addressing environmental change through this project. The campaign invites public participation with a particular emphasis on youth involvement. All segments of Pakistani society, including minority communities, are encouraged to join the reconstruction effort.
This reforestation campaign is an opportunity for citizens to contribute to environmental protection and work towards a greener Pakistan. The initiative is in line with national efforts to combat deforestation and promote reforestation across the country.
