Mumbai: An Indian medical company recently shared a job application on social media in which a candidate pleaded with the employer, stating that if he doesn’t get the job, he won’t be able to marry his beloved.
According to Indian media, Deepali Bajaj, the founder and CEO of Arva Health, recently shared a job application on X that amused internet users.
Ms. Bajaj was reviewing online job applications for an engineer position when she paused at one particular application. When asked why he thought he was suitable for the position, the candidate candidly admitted that he needed the job to marry the girl of his dreams.
The young man explained that the girl’s father was adamant that he should get a job immediately, or else he might marry his daughter off to someone else.
The candidate further stated that he believed he would be a good fit for the company and meet the requirements of the position. Ms. Bajaj shared a screenshot of the application on X and captioned it, “The hiring process is fun too.”
Berlin: Nature gives all living things amazing abilities. One example is Danionella cerebrum, which can make a loud noise like an airplane.
Danionella cerebrum, which is only 12 millimeters in diameter, can produce sounds above 140 decibels. This is the same as the sound experienced by a person standing 100 meters away from an airliner.
Although this fish was discovered in the 1980s, in 2021 scientists identified a very subtle difference between this species and the closely related species Danionella translucida. This led to the official recognition of this fish as a separate species.
Recently, a research team discovered an interesting feature in Danionella’s brain. This feature not only distinguishes it from its close relatives, but also puts it high on the list of the strongest animals in the world.
Dr. Ralf Britz, an aquatic expert at the Senckenberg Natural History Collections in Germany, said that small fish measuring 10-12 millimeters can produce more than 140 decibels. This is compared to the sound level of an airplane flying at a distance of 100 meters. It’s amazing how such a small vocal animal can make such a loud noise.
