Jahangir Khan All Pakistan National Junior Squash Championship concludes

Peshawar: The first Jahangir Khan All Pakistan National Junior Squash Championship organized by the Provincial Squash Association has concluded, Anas Rafi, Faizan and Sohail Adnan won the trophy, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Muhammad Fawad Khan secured second position in the under-13 category.

KP Squash Association President Public Health and Engineering Department Secretary Dawood Khan distributed the prizes. On this occasion, the special guest former world champion Qamar Zaman, his companion Mohibullah Khan, Secretary Squash Association Mansoor Zaman, Senior Vice President Ehsanullah Khan, Secretary Local Council Board Mr. Waheed-ur-Rehman, Senior Coach and Organizer Munawar Zaman, Tahir Iqbal and other personalities were also present.

In the Under-11 category, PAF’s Anas Rafe defeated Abdul Rehman Khalil 3-1, while in the Under-15 category, Sohail Adnan defeated PAF’s Muhammad Shahzeb 13/11, 11/9, 13/15, 11/6. In the Under-13 category, Army’s Faizan defeated Fawad Khan 3-2 to win the trophy.

.Muhammad Fawad Khan’s outstanding performance in the national junior squash championship has earned him a prestigious silver medal in the Under 13 category. He demonstrated exceptional skills and determination, narrowly losing to Fazian Army with a score of 3/2.

Nationally ranked No. 3 Fawad Khan has won many events under the supervision of coaches Munawar Zaman and Tahir Iqbal. This year, Fawad Khan will represent Pakistan in the Australian Junior Squash Championship, Asian Junior Squash Championship and US Junior Squash Championship.
