Islamabad Police and other law enforcement agencies conducted a flag march in the city to maintain peace and tranquility in the city, Public Relations Officer said.
Islamabad Police on the orders of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that Islamabad Police conducted security measures during Muharram Ul Haram and flag marches were held in various areas to make security more effective. He said strict vigilance would be maintained like previous years to maintain law and order in the city.
He said that the flag march started from Pakistan Sports Complex and ended at the same time after passing through different areas of the capital.
DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza said that Islamabad Police is doing all possible to maintain peace in the city and added that all forces are always alert to deal with emergency situations.
He said that security has been enhanced at all entry and exit points as Dolphin teams are patrolling different areas of the city, adding that all senior police officers have been instructed to stay in their respective areas and check checkpoints based on security points. such as

He also appealed to the citizens to cooperate with the police while checking and reporting all suspicious activities through Pucar-15 and assured that no stone will be left unturned to protect the lives and property of the citizens.
