Inspector General National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Salman Choudhry visited Motorway (M-1) and inaugurated new Admin Block where he chaired a meeting on administrative matters at the SSP Office Swabi. The meeting was attended by Additional IG North Region Yasin Farooq, DIG Motorway North Zone Salman Ali Khan, and other senior officers. During the meeting, IG Salman Choudhry emphasized enhancing institutional efficiency, improving patrolling quality, and advancing the professional skills of officers and staff to ensure the safety and comfort of travelers. He reiterated his commitment to the welfare of officers, aiming to equip them to meet contemporary challenges and contribute to the organization’s development and prestige. It was also decided to name the admin block in Khanqan Dogran Beat after Shaheed Sub-Inspector Fayazat Hussain Shah, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty on Motorway (M-2). Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to officers who recently apprehended a key member of a notorious dacoit gang. IG Salman Choudhry also visited Shuhda Monument to pay tribute to all Martyrs of NHMP and planting a commemorative sapling, symbolizing dedication to the NHMP’s mission.
