DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday released the Test player rankings, with Pakistan cricketer Babar Azam topping the list of One Day International (ODI) batsmen.
New Zealand’s Kane Williamson has retained his top spot in the Test batsman rankings, while England’s Joe Root has moved up one notch to second.
Australia’s Steve Smith has moved up to third position and Pakistan’s Babar Azam is in 5th position.
India’s Yashsi Jaiswal entered the top ten after moving up two places, while Rohit Sharma moved up two places to the 11th position.
RANKING OF TEST BOWLER
Among Test bowlers, India’s Jasprit Bumrah retained his top spot, Australia’s Josh Hazlewood moved up one place to fourth and Australia’s Nathan Line moved up two places to sixth.
Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi has moved from 12th to 11. While India’s Ravindra Jadeja remains number one in the Test all-rounders.
ODI ORDER
Pakistan cricketer Babar Azam is ranked No. 1 in the One Day International (ODI) batsmen rankings, while Keshu Maharaj of South Africa is ranked No. 1 among ODI bowlers and Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan is ranked No. 1 among ODI all-rounders.
T20 RANKINGS
India’s Surya Kumar Yadav is first, Pakistan’s Muhammad Rizwan is second and Babar Azam is third in the T20 rankings.
Among the T20 bowlers, England’s Adil Rashid remains on top.
