Lahore: The ICC has announced the Team of the Tournament for the T20 World Cup.
No Pakistani player has been included in the T20 World Cup honors squad, while six Indian cricketers have been included in the squad.
Rohit Sharma has been named captain of the ICC team of the tournament. Along with Rohit Sharma, there are also Suryakumar adadav, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.
Three Afghan players Rashid Khan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Fazalhaq Farooqui were also selected for the ICC team of honour. Australia’s Marcus Stoinis and West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran are also part of the list. Rohit Sharma was chosen as the captain. The selection committee includes Harsha Bogle, Ian Bishop, Cass Naidoo and ICC Director General Wasim Khan.
