In a candid and heartfelt episode of the FHM podcast, Pakistani actor Momal Sheikh shares the amazing story of how she chose once-in-a-lifetime love to meet Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Momal said she was the first to fall in love with her now husband Nadir and even chased them abroad to continue their romance.
Reflecting on the most important moment of her life, Momal said that her father, famous actor Javed Sheikh, had shot the song Deewangi from the Bollywood film Om Shanti Om. “Baba was doing Om Shanti Om in India at that time and the film had that song with all the actors. He asked me if I wanted to visit India,” he said.
However, love took him in a different direction. “I felt there was Shah Rukh Khan on one side and Nadir on the other. So, I decided to catch Shah Rukh’s mother. So I decided to go to London. Shehzad went to sing. He had to meet everyone.”
Momal described her trip to London as a “difficult romantic journey” full of dramatic twists one would expect in a Bollywood film. After arriving in London, he found that Nadir had flown to another city, leading to a turning point in their relationship.
He said, “It was a very romantic trip to take the Queen of Hearts. Until London, Nadir had flown to another city. So I asked him to tell me whether he wanted to marry me or not. He said yes. He sent his mother to meet me. It all happened so fast. To me, it was as clear as Kajol and SRK’s romance.”
My mother’s pursuit of love was rewarded with a swift and swift engagement despite the fear of her parents against it. He jokingly compares his romance to the dramatic plot of Bollywood films, but in reality, his family is supportive.
The Razia actor said, “I thought when we reach old age, we will reach the top, and they will start making noise, but no.” “They went along and it was all very good. The condition of my father-in-law was that Nadir should get a job first and continue to get married. He was a student when we fell in love. Chatt mangni, patt bayah.”
