Vultures have become rare in Pakistan, for which a special vulture house has been constructed in Changa Manga.
This bird is facing the problem of its survival, wildlife department has rescued the rare vulture and established a rehabilitation center in Changa Manga forest with the support of WWF for their breeding.
Vulture breeding efforts are ongoing under the supervision of wildlife experts at the special Vulture House.
Initially, 8 vultures were brought here and till now there are 35. The special thing about this bird is that its female lays only one egg in a year due to which her breeding is not fast.
In this regard, the citizens say that the lack of vultures is likely to damage the environment because they play an important role in eliminating dead animals.
According to a report by ARY News Changa Manga Sabir Chaudhry, the species of eco-friendly vulture is decreasing alarmingly, which is mainly due to the drugs given to the animals.
