Chief Organizer of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz, revealed a sizable wealth portfolio in a report of assets that she filed with her nomination for the NA-119 National Assembly seat from Lahore.
Debts and land holdings
With possession of over 1500 kanals of land in various parts of Lahore, her real estate holdings stand out conspicuously. These holdings are valued at an astounding Rs840.25 million.
The official record also discloses Maryam Nawaz’s debt of more than Rs28.9 million to her brother Hassan Nawaz, providing insight into the intricate financial dynamics inside the Nawaz family.
Not a personal car
An intriguing twist is that, in contrast to conventional displays of wealth, Maryam Nawaz does not own a personal automobile.
Her possession of gold valued at Rs.1.75 million as well as more than Rs. 1 crore in cash and bank accounts, however, indicates a strong and well-rounded financial situation.
