A passenger coach traveling from Turbat to Quetta plunged into a deep ditch on Wednesday morning, killing 27 people, including women and children. According to rescue workers, the accident occurred due to high speed.
22 passengers on the plane were injured, mostly women and children.
The injured were first taken to Basima Civil Hospital for medical treatment. Plans are underway to move those who need further treatment to Quetta.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at Basima Civil Hospital for identification. Despite the difficult terrain, rescue efforts were quickly mobilized.
