On the invitation of Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of
Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), a high-level business delegation from South Asian countries will visit
Pakistan to participate in the SAARC Charter Day celebrations in Islamabad, Pakistan.
During their visit, the delegation will engage in high-level meetings with key Pakistani government
officials, and political leadership, as well as the business community of Pakistan for b2b meetings. The
discussions will focus on fostering bilateral trade and investment opportunities, addressing trade barriers,
and exploring potential areas of regional collaboration. The visit will also feature crucial SCCI board
meetings and a site visit to the ongoing Headquarters Building Project in Islamabad.
Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh expressed his pride in hosting the distinguished South Asian delegation and
emphasized the importance of dialogue and collaboration in strengthening regional economic ties. He
remarked that such exchanges are vital for driving growth and ensuring long-term prosperity across the
region. The delegation comprises prominent business leaders, including, Mr. Khairuddin Mayel, VP,
SCCI (Afghanistan), Mr. Shafquat Haider, VP, SCCI (Bangladesh), and Mr. Chandi Raj Dhakal, VP,
SCCI (Nepal).
Mr. Mian Anjum Nisar, VP, SCCI and former President of FPCCI, highlighted the strategic importance
