The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced opportunities for students to start a fully funded study and placement program in China.
This six-month initiative, open to undergraduate and graduate students, aims to provide a transformative educational experience that fosters understanding of targeted cultures and enhances professional skills.
EC’s latest initiative seeks to equip scholars with new knowledge and insights that will enable them to make the academic connections that are essential for success in today’s globalized world.
Through this program, students will learn ways to improve their academic and professional skills while contributing significantly to the global talent pool.
Scholarship Overview
The program is available to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students in all disciplines. This is a scholarship offered locally by HEC and is open to students from all regions of Pakistan. Interested candidates should apply before June 15, 2024.
Selection Criteria
A CGPA of at least 3 out of 4 is required for postgraduate, master and doctoral degrees. Postgraduate (MS & PhD) studies must be completed and applied for specific courses. Undergraduate students must be in the final year of their degree program and apply for the specified courses.
In addition, applicants must have an acceptance letter from a Chinese university ranked in the top 500 according to QS, THE or Shanghai rankings, and receive a letter of objection (NOK) from their home university for a six-month placement in China.
Age Limit
The age limit is set at 25 years for Bachelors, 35 years for Masters programs and 40 years for Doctoral programs.
