Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s sons, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz, left for Islamabad from Lahore to surrender before the Islamabad Accountability Court in the flagship, Al-Azizia and Avenfield links of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The Accountability Court headed by Justice Nasir Javed Rana held a hearing on the Flagship, Al-Azizia and Avenfield references on Thursday, during which Hassan and Hussain Nawaz’s assistant counsel, Qazi Misbahul Hasan, appeared in court.
During the proceedings, it was announced that senior counsel Qazi Misbah would join the hearing at 11:30 am. Rana Irfan Advocate, representing the accused, further assured the court that his clients would surrender before noon.

Responding to Justice Nasir Javed Rana’s query regarding the appearance of accused Rana, Irfan confirmed his commitment to appear in court by 12 noon. The accountability court then adjourned the hearing until noon.
Hassan and Hussain Nawaz would surrender in court today after remaining on the run for seven years in NAB links.
The flagship, Al-Azizia and Avenfield links have received considerable attention due to their implications for Pakistan’s political and legal environment. These references relate to alleged financial misconduct and corruption allegations against high-ranking individuals.
