Govt denies solitary confinement of Imran Khan

Islamabad: The federal government has denied that PTI founder Imran Khan is being held in solitary confinement and his lawyers and family are not being allowed in, releasing pictures of his cell and facilities in Adiala Jail.

The government has submitted additional documents to the Supreme Court, rejecting the PTI founder’s demands, including photographs of meetings he had with lawyers in jail.

The government also sent a list of people who met the PTI founders to the Supreme Court and said that the plea of confinement itself was false.

The federal government said it could set up a commission to verify the truth of his statement if the court deems it necessary. Imran Khan was provided all necessary facilities like books, AC and television in jail.
