Gilgit-Baltistan Ranks 20th in BBC’s List of World’s Most Beautiful Destinations

List of the Most Beautiful Tourist Destinations in the World Released; Where Does Pakistan Stand?

This ranking has been compiled by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) with the help of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, Sustainable Travel International, and other similar organizations.

In the list of 25 best destinations, Pakistan’s “Gilgit-Baltistan,” home to scenic valleys, beautiful waterfalls, and lush greenery, ranks 20th.

The significance of this region can be gauged by the fact that UNESCO’s list includes the Deosai plains and the crystal-clear lakes of Shangrila.

The fragrant cherry blossoms of Hunza Valley, apricot orchards, natural wonders, green valleys, and ancient lakes have earned Gilgit-Baltistan the title of “Gateway to Paradise.”

It’s not the first time that Gilgit-Baltistan has been included in a list of beautiful tourist spots. Financial Times also included it in its list of the 50 best tourist destinations in the world.
