Indian billionaire Gautam Adani has donated ₹10,000 crore to social causes on the occasion of his son’s wedding.
According to Indian media, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani’s son, Jeet Adani, married Deva, the daughter of a diamond trader. The wedding was conducted in a simple, religious manner following Gujarati traditions, with only close family and relatives in attendance.
The wedding has been a major topic in the news and on social media, not only because of its simplicity despite being the wedding of a wealthy industrialist’s son but also due to Gautam Adani’s generous donation of ₹10,000 crore for social welfare.
Reports indicate that a significant portion of the donated amount will be allocated to essential sectors such as healthcare and education.
