PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has stated that the funds allocated by the federal government are not charitable but rightfully owed to the province.
“It’s not begging, it’s our claim and we will persist in applying it,” he emphasized.
He further stated that the issue of paying dues to the province was discussed with the Prime Minister, adding that it was a matter of people’s rights.
“The Federation would have to provide it; we would continue to fight for people’s rights and no stone would be left unturned in this regard,” the Chief Minister said.
Gandapur arrived at Dera Ismail Khan on his inaugural visit after he was appointed the Chief Executive of the province. Party members and local people welcomed him with enthusiasm.
Addressing the media during the visit, CM Ali Amin Khan Gandapur assured that as the Chief Minister of the entire province, his paramount duty is to enforce law and order as well as prioritize the progress and welfare of all citizens across the province. region.
“The very first responsibility of the incumbent provincial government is to maintain law and order,” he noted, saying that a viable plan has also been finalized in this regard.

He announced the reinstatement of the Sehat Insaf card, which had been suspended for the past eighteen months.
In addition, measures will be put in place to improve service delivery in government hospitals across the province. Soon, citizens will have access to comprehensive facilities in state hospitals, eliminating the need for private healthcare services.
He said that ever since the PTI-elected government at the Center was overthrown through a “conspiracy”, the country’s economic conditions have been steadily deteriorating. As a result, skyrocketing prices of basic commodities have affected the livelihoods of ordinary citizens across the country.
In view of the prevailing economic situation and its adverse effects on the life of the general public, the incumbent provincial government has decided to provide relief to the people despite numerous challenges, he said.
