LAHORE: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) organised a seminar titled “Green Punjab, Strong Economy” in Lahore, bringing together stakeholders from the government, business community, academia and private sector.
Secretary of the Environment Protection and Climate Change Department Punjab, Silwat Saeed, attended the event and highlighted the importance of green investment, environmental compliance and sustainable economic growth.
The seminar provided a platform for government officials, business representatives, academics and private-sector stakeholders to discuss ways to strengthen climate resilience and improve cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Speakers and participants emphasised the need to align economic development with environmental responsibility and promote investment that supports a cleaner and more sustainable future.
The event highlighted the role of collaboration among government, businesses and other stakeholders in advancing environmental protection while supporting sustainable economic growth in Punjab.
