Four terrorists were killed by security forces in an intelligence-led operation in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday night.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the people killed early Monday were actively involved in terrorist activities in the area.
Taking swift action, the security forces effectively traced the terrorist hideout in Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the operation, a large number of weapons and ammunition were seized from the possession of terrorists and killed.
According to ISPR, the terrorists were killed in an operation that was suspected to be involved in several terrorist activities, including targeted killings and atrocities.
After the operation, local residents thanked the security forces for their swift and decisive action to eradicate the terror threat. The ISPR reiterated the commitment of the security forces to eradicate terrorism from the country and ensure the safety and security of all citizens.
Also on Sunday, security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence operation in Dera Ismail Khan.
According to ISPR, security forces conducted an IBO in Dera Ismail Khan district regarding the presence of terrorists. Also, during the operation, there was a heavy exchange of fire between the troops and terrorists, which led to the killing of terrorists Faheem Nawaz Gandapuri and Mohsin Nawaz.
