Forest Services Academy Holds 10-KM Marathon from Jhika Gali to Bansra Gali

MURREE: The Forest Services Academy organised a 10-kilometre marathon from Jhika Gali to Bansra Gali as part of the final phase of its training programme.

The race was successfully conducted to promote physical fitness, endurance and discipline among trainees completing their training at the academy.

The route through the Murree region also provided participants with an opportunity to run in a natural setting surrounded by the area’s forest landscape.

Physical fitness is an important part of field training for forestry professionals, whose work can involve demanding outdoor assignments, forest inspections and conservation activities.

The marathon formed part of the academy’s broader training activities, helping prepare participants for the physical and professional challenges associated with forest management and environmental protection.
