CHAKWAL: The Forest Services Academy organised a practical learning session on range management to help trainee Forest Rangers better understand sustainable management of natural resources.
Mr. Tanveer Shehzad, Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF), Range Management Division, Chakwal, delivered an informative lecture on range management and shared his field experience with the trainees.
With 18 years of service in the Forest Department, Shehzad brought practical knowledge and professional experience to the session. He explained the importance of sustainable range management and effective field practices for protecting natural resources.
The session also provided trainee Forest Rangers with an opportunity to learn from real field experience and better understand the challenges involved in managing rangelands.
Sustainable range management is important for protecting vegetation, supporting biodiversity, maintaining healthy ecosystems and strengthening the long-term resilience of natural landscapes.
