ISLAMABAD: 4 terrorists were killed during an operation by security forces in Budh Bir and Dera Ismail Khan in the suburbs of Peshawar while an army jawan was martyred.
According to ISPR, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Budh Bir on the information of the presence of terrorists, where four terrorists were killed during the operation.
Among the terrorists killed are Commander Samiullah alias Shenoy, Terrorist Commander Salman Ahmed, Terrorist Imran Muhammad and Terrorist Hazrat Umar alias Khalid.
All the terrorists were highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies from whom arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered. The terrorists were active in several terrorist activities including extortion and target killing in the area.

The second operation was carried out in Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district where Lance Naik Mohammad Ejaz Khan was martyred in a fierce exchange of fire with terrorists.
According to ISPR, the clearance operation is on to eliminate other terrorists in the area, the security forces are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
