Peshawar Zalmi opener Saim Ayub said on Friday that he focused more on batting than bowling.
Ayub said, “I love bowling. I played well in two matches. I told Captain Babar Azam that if I bowled well today, it wouldn’t mean I would bowl well all the time. So don’t rely on my bowling.”
Ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Eliminator 2, Ayub said, “There is no room for defeat for Zalmi now.”
Recalling the memories before he entered the international circuit, Ayub said, “It was three years ago that I used to watch matches along with my parents. It was my parents’ wish to see me on the TV screen.”
“I had a wish to play PSL and see my parents going to the stadium,” said Ayub.
He claimed, “Babar Azam talked about me and praised me. Babar Azam asked my mother to take care of me so that I can continue my good form.
Ayub admitted that the results were not in the team’s favor against Australia
