Thanks to an Ohio-based company, a flame-throwing robot dog is now on sale in the US.
Throwflame first released this deal last year, but recently announced it again, asking $9,420.
The company has released a promotional video showing off the ARC Flamethrower, which it claims can “send a stream of flame up to 30 feet with the push of a button.”
The flamethrower attached to the Go2 robot dog is made by China-based Unitree.
Throwflame says on its website that its proprietary fire extinguishers are “not federally regulated,” but “are not even considered firearms (joke) by federal authorities.
In 2015, the company released its first incendiary device called the X15, which can send “a stream of burning fuel or napalm up to 50 feet.”
It caused a huge media outcry, questioning its legitimacy. But Throwflame says the tool is “fully unrestricted in 48 states.”
