Gujranwala: In the city of Gujranwala, Punjab, unknown suspects shot dead five members of the same family due to personal enmity.
The incident took place at Jameel Shaheed Chowk in Gujranwala. According to the eyewitnesses, motorcycle-riding persons fired at the five persons and ran away.
On receiving the information, the police arrived and called ambulances and shifted the bodies to the hospital, where the deceased were identified as Rana Iftikhar, Rajab, Hafiz Sufyan, Buta alias Fuji and Qaiser Shah. According to Satellite Police, the incident is a sign of personal enmity.

Meanwhile, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has issued an order to form special teams to arrest the accused while seeking a report of the incident from RPO Gujranwala.
IG Punjab directed that while investigating every aspect of the incident, the accused should be arrested as soon as possible, the supervisory officers should be in close contact with the families of the victims.
