MULTAN: A fire broke out in a cotton factory near Sher Shah Street in Multan in the early hours of Thursday.
According to rescuers present at the scene, firefighters are busy extinguishing the flames.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. An investigation into the source of the fire will begin after the flames are completely extinguished.
This incident follows a similar incident on February 27 when a fire broke out at a factory in Bhangoria Goth, a neighborhood in Karachi.
According to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Fire Department, after being notified, fire department officials immediately reached the spot to douse the fire and dispatched one of the fire engines to help douse the fire.
Earlier on February 24, a cardboard factory in Shujabad was engulfed in flames in the late hours.
According to representatives of rescuers present at the scene, the fire first engulfed the factory before spreading to the nearby warehouses. In response, rescue teams along with firefighters worked tirelessly to extinguish the flames.
